The flagship product
Inheren's first product has three parts: a book, public education, and the Inheren Companion.
The idea
Preeclampsia can be prevented.
The challenge is identifying which prevention strategies belong in an individual woman's care.
One
The book is for women with a history of preeclampsia, and for anyone who wants to understand the disease. It explains what preeclampsia is, why it happens, and what can be done to prevent it.
Two
The public education explains, in plain language, what preeclampsia is, the different biological processes that can lead to it, and what can be done to prevent it.
Three
The Companion is designed to help you understand your risk: which biological processes apply to you, what the evidence says about prevention in your situation, and what you can do about it. The point is understanding, so that you can participate meaningfully in decisions with your clinical team.
The Companion starts with your pregnancy history and risk factors.
It identifies which biological processes are most likely involved for you, based on what can be measured.
It lays out which prevention strategies the evidence supports in your situation, so you understand what applies to you.
The Companion does not diagnose or treat, and it does not replace your clinicians.
Who it is for
You had preeclampsia and were never given a real explanation, or a plan for next time.
You are planning a first or next pregnancy and want to lower your risk before it starts.
You were labeled high risk and handed monitoring, but no plan you could act on yourself.
The book, the public education, and the Companion are in development. To follow the work or ask a question, get in touch.
